First Lolita Meet Up 4/8/12

My original post went poof for some odd reason, but I will write it again! <3


On April 8, 2012 the group had their first lolita meet up.  We had a blast!!! Well, at least I did! XD


Great food, great outfits, great people... all the elements needed to have an awesome time!  One of the things that we were worried about the most was the place.  I have being in Isla de Cabras (where the meet up took place) and totally forgot how windy the place could be.  I picked that place, not only cause of the location, but because it is a cool area where I knew we were not going to burn up cause of the heat.  That day the weather was to our favor!!! The wind was nice, but not strong enough to get us naked and mess with our hair and the sun was strong, but the cool breeze kept us from melting.  It was amazing!


We were able to talk a little bit more of the plans and projects we have for the group and what was to be expected for the rest of the year.  We had people come to us, asking us what was the deal with us, and even a guy asked us if we were from a religious group! O.O lol  I had to explain to them what was our group about and they seem interested and were very respectful.  The only trouble makers were these two female clowns that were near us on a birthday party o.O I thought they were just jealous cause they would walk back and forth in front of our gazebo looking and giving us the stink eye.  It was hilarious!!! 


I believe that this will be only the start of something awesome.  More people will fill comfortable to go out, in their favorite japanese styles, and rock the world.

Updates ... What The Hell!? Where January Go?

Well apparently 31 days go by very fast... I can't imagine 28! So, what did I do with all those 31 days?

My dress for the MLP Gijinka is done! What is Gijinka? go to my post Gijinka Story to learn more. I got some accesories, but I'm still missing the main pieces like the wig and the shoes.

~ My MLP Gijinka Dress ~

I have already painted the pony's emblem on the right side of the dress, but I'm not gonna show it till after the photoshoot! ^.^ This is the first dress that I make using a pattern and in like any puzzle, some I left some pieces, but apparently they were not really needed since the dress came out perfect with out them! lol

After finishing this dress I started working on my Puerto Rico Comic Con cosplay... This is my dream cosplay so its being killing me since I wanna do it perfect! So far I have about ... 20% of it done. It consist of a skirt, with another piece on top of it, a corset, a halter top, a long sleeve shirt, a leather collar and a crown. It sounds like a lot, but you gotta see the pic to understand lol. So far I have the skirt done and the corset I'm half way there. Gotta buy some more materials to be able to finish the corset and then move on to the next step.

I'm also very busy with school and with PR Lolitas Fashion and More! Group on Facebook. We have some Meet Ups coming up and I want them to be mega awesome! I will be working on my dress pretty soon!

So yeah! I've being busy! I got an Xbox game for Xmas and I finally started playing it a couple of days ago... I had to put it down again cause of school work! lol 

Now back to the books so I can go back to sewing! <3

Hater Will Hate ...

I had a bunch of stuff already typed that I was gonna say ... but I will just say with this image ...

There are some individuals that were placed on this earth to fuck with me and try to get my wrong side... but I promised myself I was not gonna do that and that I was gonna be a happy, joy-joy, go lucky kind of person cause the world needs more good, awesome people than assholes and bastards... BUT I'm always ready to beat a bitch with a shoe! lol 

Remember, no matter what, you can always live your life according to you and not anybody else! What makes you happy might make your haters miserable and that is the best way to get on their nerves and kill 'em!

~~~ A Gijinka Story ~~~

So, one of the projects that I will be working with this year is in a My Little Pony inspired Gijinka Photoshoot this Summer. I have always LOVE My Little Pony. I used to have 6 - 8 G1 ponies and the stable. Things happen and thanks to my ex I lost them all, but that is another story. Thanks to the magic of *angelic chorus sings* ebay, I have being able to locate some of the ones I used to have and will buy them. Mainly the ones I used to have.
Anyway, gijinka is a Japanese word meaning humanoid or anthropomorphic. It is nothing more than the human representation of something that other wise is not. People representing animals, computers (even hardware, software and internet sites), food, cigarettes, the zodiac... you name it! In the cosplay world, the most commonly seen gijinkas are Pokemon, My Little Pony, Digimon, along others. Kemonomimi (wearing animal ears) is also considered a form of gijinka so is the (weird yet awesome) sub culture of furries.

These are just samples! The gijinka world is not limited to this, there is so much more! Specially thanks to cosplaying anime and manga characters.

Between now and this photoshoot I have a ton of other projects, but since this one is so special to me, I decided to tackle this one first. My other 4 projects are in the making too, one of the almost finished.

Though I will not yet disclose which pony I will do my gijinka of, I will show around some of the items I have bought so far. Wanna keep people guessing lol. All I'm saying is that it is not from the G4 series ^.^ As my outfit progresses I will keep posting more details till the day of the photoshoot!

2012... Already!?

Good grief... it is 2012 already! I couldn't wait for the new year, but I think I wasn't ready for it yet. The past few months have being a total pain in the ass. I shouldn't have stepped away from the blog, since it is my way of venting, but sometimes I feel too fed up with people (the cause of these past months being so hectic).

So, enough ramblings for now! 2012! Loving it! I cannot wait till Dec. 31st every year. To me it means "borron y cuenta nueva" or erase and start again. Last year started so, so. Then it got ok for a while and half way turned into shit. This year started shitty (yeah only 6 days into the year and its already shitty), but it might just be the beginning of something awesome!

This year's projects should keep me busy for a while and away from trouble (or maybe get me even closer). What am I working on? A Rocky Horror Picture Show Audience Participation Extravaganza, I'm the admin of two Facebook groups ( Dr. Frank-N-Furter's Lab Assistants and PR Lolitas Fashion and More!ＰＲロリータファッションｙママ！)several photoshoots (lolita fashion, gijinka My Little Pony, Adventure Time, and Silent Hill), some conventions (I will limit myself to only 4 conventions of the so many that are popping all over the place).

It will most defenetly be a busy year. Now all I need to do is get down to business!

Skirts Up!

Wow! It's being a long time since the last time I posted! O.O tsk tsk!

Well I got inspired and made me a new skirt. I wanted to do something cute for Thanksgiving and to wear to go see The Muppets Movie. At first I wanted to make a dress. I had some red fabric at my mom's and when I picked it up, noticed that there was not enough to make a dress. Then I started thinking about it and decided not to make a dress anyway since I'm gonna make another one later to wear on the holiday parties.

I ended up making me a skirt inspired on a Sex Plot Revenge skirt. I love this brand, but like any other Japanese brand, I don't fit. I made the skirt and it came out awesome! Will be adding more details to it and making it more punkish.
